Founded in 1990 by a husband and wife team of Gaston and Andrea Alkins, the company began with the reloading of used dot matrix ribbon cartridges with new fabric. As printer and computer technology has evolved into repairs and retail of inkjets, lasers, multifunction and plotter machines, so too has Snikla’s product and service offering expanded to meet the needs of the market. Within recent years Snikla has further diversified into the document shredder industry, stocking a line of personal and heavy-duty machines, offering repairs on all models, and long or short-term rentals.
We encourage our customers to explore extending the life of their equipment instead of simply replacing, thus offering both savings and reducing the impact on our environment. At the core of our operation is our strong team of friendly, and knowledgeable employees, who embody Snikla’s commitment to delivering value and exceptional service.

We Fix
Our skilled technicians repair all makes and models of printers - from inkjet, laser, and dot matrix to wide format (plotters), and all sizes of document shredders, from personal to industrial. We recommend regular maintenance for all office machines to avoid major breakdowns, reduce downtime and extend their life span. We offer complimentary assessment of machines brought into our Woodbrook office.
We Rent
We offer short and long term rentals of heavy-duty document shredders as a cost effective solution for archival shredding or tackling a backlog. Our rental fleet includes both strip and cross-cut models to suit your confidentiality needs. Delivery and collection costs are included in our rental fee.
